Some would say Bert Cornielius decided to explore his full potential later than most. At 32 years old Bert decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. This decision came after trying out for a sketch comedy show in his native home of South Florida. During one of the shows a comedian was unavailable and Bert was asked to warm up the crowd and opened for a major headliner. The result was the birth of a new adventure, career and love of the art from that point on.

THE COMEDIAN
Bert is best described as a multi-talented singer, actor stand-up comedian, and radio host born and raised in South Florida. Coming from a pioneering musical family(Cornelius Brothers& Sister Rose) who broke through the billboard charts during the highlights of their careers in the 60’s and 70s. Of course being musically inclined himself, he assumed his destiny would be in the music business. When asked why, he just simply states "Sometimes you must take a chance and do what you love, and what I love is making people laugh." Bert is currently co-host of InTheMix a weekly radioshow/podcast on Mature Life Radio. He’s also currently working on multiple comedy shows and projects.
With a stage presence comparable to household named comedians such as Cedric the entertainer, Charlie Murphy and Bernie Mac. Bert has brought his love of storytelling performing on many stages. Priding himself on the theory of laughter being universal, Bert is poised to grace more stages in the years to come.
